Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist, Missoula, MT

Zip Beverage, proudly serving Western Montana with locations in Missoula and Butte, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Missoula office team.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
(Shifts may end earlier when all daily responsibilities are completed.)

Job Responsibilities:

● Reconcile daily delivery paperwork and post customer payments (cash/checks/EFTs) into our route accounting system

● Monitor unpaid invoices and follow up with retailers or sales representatives in accordance with Montana state alcohol laws

● Create and manage new client profiles; assist with EFT setup and banking information

● Maintain confidentiality and uphold company values in all financial matters

● Answer customer calls; generate same-day delivery invoices as needed. Occasionally assist with order picking from the warehouse when feasible

● Provide excellent in-person and phone customer service to retailers, suppliers, and sales staff

● Act as a liaison between sales reps and customers to resolve issues efficiently

● Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

● Must be at least 19 years old (in accordance with alcohol industry regulations)

● Strong understanding of accounting principles, credit practices, and collection policies

● Skilled in data entry, basic math, and accuracy-driven work

● Experience using spreadsheets and route accounting systems preferred

● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

● Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation and Benefits:

● Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
